I offer two primary types of massage: Full Body and Chair. Regardless, the experience is always personalized to your needs and preferences.
My massages are the full “time on table,” which means that when you book an hour-long massage, you get 60 minutes on the table–not 45-50 minutes like you might be used to with other therapists. Of course, that’s assuming you arrive on time for your appointment. š
Chair Massage Services
Chair (Seated) Massage – Chair Massageāalso known as a Seated Massageāis performed fully clothed in a specially designed chair. I will focus on your upper body, working overtop your clothes. It’s excellent for quick relaxation without need for disrobing. No massage oils are used for Chair Massages, so itās great for those who are looking for a quick break but still need to return to work or resume their day.
I use the super soft NRG Grasshopper Massage Chair. It has the ability to adjust to various heights and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds.
Chair Massage Rates:
- 10 Minutes – $15.00
- 20 Minutes – $25.00
Full Body Massage Services
The full body massages listed below are performed on a massage table while you are disrobed to your comfort level. Techniques can include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, Lymphatic, or any combination to match your personal preference. I use a high-quality, nut-free, paraben-free massage oil made of a blend of jojoba, safflower, grapeseed, apricot, and peach kernel oils. This is offered unscented or it can be paired with your choice of essential oils. I also offer a lightly-scented organic massage oil comprised of jojoba oil, olive oil, and shea butter.
I use an Oakworks Nova LS Table that has 3ā thick of multi-density foam for amazing support. Itās soft but strong with a weight capacity of 550 pounds.
Swedish (Relaxation) Massage
I use a high-quality massage oil for long, smooth, gliding strokes. If you are new to massage, Swedish massage is the perfect way to begin your relaxation experience. Swedish massage is gentle pressure with a firm touch that increases circulation, relaxes tight muscles, and eases stress.
Deep Tissue Massage
If you are needing to improve your range of motion and remove severe tension, this is the massage you want. I love Deep Tissue massage. This is the one that gave me such incredible relief from my whiplash injury (which I talk about briefly on the About Me page). Seeing how well this technique relieves my clients’ sore muscles and helps them heal reminds me of why I became a massage therapist.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is great for sports enthusiasts and weekend warriors. I incorporate massage techniques like trigger point therapy and myofascial release to custom design your massage and to help your body feel freer and stronger.
Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic massage (also called “lymphatic drainage”) is a special technique that assists your immune system when it becomes sluggish. Simply put, a gentle touch along the lymph nodes helps re-establish proper flow throughout your Lymphatic System.
A healthy Lymphatic System plays a key role in your immune system, fluid balance and absorption of fats and fat-soluble nutrients.
